What is True Blue OCU Giving Day?
Giving Day is a 24-hour online fundraising campaign that encourages alumni, students, employees, and friends of the University to give to the area that matters most to you, which serves as the driving force behind philanthropy at OCU.
What makes my contribution on True Blue OCU Giving Day special?
On April 30, your contribution has an even bigger impact than usual, thanks to a handful of generous supporters who will be providing challenge funds. By making your gift, you can help your favorite areas of OCU win these challenge funds. Throughout the day, leaderboards will show progress in real time!
How can I make a gift securely on True Blue OCU Giving Day?
1. Visit www.okcu.edu/givingday on April 30 and click the "Give Now" button between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. (PST)
2. Call 405-208-7000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make your gift over the phone.

Where does my gift go?
Your gift goes directly where you choose: your college or school or any area you're passionate about at OCU!
Will my gift be tax-deductible?
Yes. 100% of your gift to the university is tax-deductible. That’s just one more great reason to join the cause!
Will my employer match my gift?
Many companies—including some national and international employers—will match gifts from current employees or retirees, allowing alumni, parents, and friends to easily increase the impact of their personal contributions. When will I receive my Giving Day t-shirt?
Giving Day t-shirts will be shipped by June. To ensure as many supporters as possible receive one, t-shirts are limited to one per donation.
When will OCU Legacy Bricks be installed?
Legacy bricks will be installed in the heart of campus on the quad, north of the Ann Lacy School of Dance & Entertainment. Be on the lookout for an email post Giving Day to fill out your personalization!
*Effective July 1, 2025, all new non-endowed cash gifts and pledges will be subject to a 5% administrative fee to help cover operational costs for the fiscal year. Payments made on pledges before July 1, 2025, are exempt from this fee. Gifts requiring a formal agreement will be reviewed individually, and exceptions may be made in consultation with the donor.
